Cultivated relationship with the National Museum of Botswana, culminating in high-profile gallery showing highlighting Peace Corps’ role in the country’s development since independence. Gallery opening was the only event hosted by a foreign goverment formally recognized by the Government of Botswana as part of the official proceedings for the country’s 50th anniversary celebration. Attended by the then-Minister of Education, Unity Dow, senior leadership from Peace Corps HQ, members of the diplomatic corps, and ambassadors from the U.S., France, and the E.U.
