Cultivated relationship with the National Museum of Botswana, culminating in high-profile gallery showing highlighting Peace Corps’ role in the country’s development since independence. Gallery opening was the only event hosted by a foreign goverment formally recognized by the Government of Botswana as part of the official proceedings for the country’s 50th anniversary celebration. The Director of the National Museum, Mr. Gaogakwe Phorano, welcomed guests to the special exhibition and gave special thanks to all of those attending the opening ceremony.
